“We are more aware of negative things that trigger our partner and more open to seeing from each other’s point of view. We learned how to listen to each other, relate to how the other is feeling, and understand what they are trying to communicate.”

Inside the Lesson

Why do kids act out? Are they really lazy, manipulative, attention seeking? Or, is it a lack of assertive, consistent parenting?

In this Master Series show, Dr. Ross Greene, professor, author of the Explosive Child, and sought after speaker on child behavior, reveals the real reasons for behaviorally challenged children — an inability to meet set expectations.

He teaches parents how to recognize these un-met expectations (what he terms lagging skills) and how to collaborate with their children to achieve a solution to the problem that is realistic and satisfactory for both.
